Medical Video Production – For healthcare and medical practices offering complex services, one of the biggest marketing challenges isn’t simply explaining what you do. It’s communicating that information in a way prospective patients can understand while still showing the people, expertise and philosophy behind the practice.
Chaze Films worked with Restorative Neuro to create a Brand Message Video centered around Dr. Lars Landers, a functional neurologist and chiropractor, and his approach to brain health and neurological function.
The video became the foundation of a larger collection of marketing content that also included a Brand Anthem, short-form videos and photography for the practice’s website.
Making a Complex Healthcare Service Easier to Understand
Medical video production can quickly become too technical when the subject involves terminology and concepts that are unfamiliar to the average patient.
For Restorative Neuro, the Brand Message Video needed to introduce some fairly complex concepts without becoming overly clinical or turning into a long explanation of every service the practice provides.
Instead, the story starts with a much bigger idea:
“Your brain is interpreting your entire reality.”
From there, Dr. Landers explains what he looks for when a patient’s brain isn’t functioning optimally, the types of challenges that bring people to the practice and how objective information can help guide their approach.
The goal was to give prospective patients enough information to understand the philosophy behind the practice while keeping the message focused on what that approach could mean for them.
Showing the Process Behind the Practice
An important part of the story was demonstrating that Restorative Neuro’s approach isn’t based solely on how a patient says they feel.
Dr. Landers discusses the use of objective tools, including quantitative EEG brain mapping, to evaluate electrical activity in the brain and help determine where additional support may be needed.
Showing that process visually allowed us to complement the interview with footage of the technology, environment and patient experience.
Rather than simply telling viewers what the practice does, the combination of interview and b-roll gives prospective patients a better sense of what working with the practice can actually look like.
Communicating the Philosophy Behind the Brand
Healthcare video production isn’t only about explaining treatments, technology or services. A Brand Message Video can also help prospective patients understand the people and philosophy behind a medical practice.
One of the strongest ideas from Dr. Landers’ interview comes toward the end of the story:
“I’m here to navigate, but you’re going to drive.”
That idea helps position the relationship as collaborative. His role is to provide information, guidance and treatment while helping patients find what works for them.
For a healthcare practice, those beliefs can be just as important to the brand as the services themselves.
Building a Larger Library of Healthcare Marketing Content
The Brand Message Video was created as part of a broader collection of marketing assets for Restorative Neuro.
In addition to the main video, Chaze Films created a shorter Brand Anthem, short-form video content and photography featuring the practice and its clients for use across its website and digital marketing.
This allowed the production to serve more than one purpose.
The longer Brand Message Video could introduce the practice and explain its approach in greater depth, while the additional videos and photography gave Restorative Neuro more ways to communicate the brand across different platforms.
For medical and healthcare practices offering complex services, strategic video content can help bridge the gap between expertise and understanding—giving prospective patients a clearer picture of not only what the practice does, but the philosophy and people behind it.
