It started long before there was a company name or a business plan. It went all the way back in the days of VHS camcorders, where we discovered the love of being able to capture memories. Eventually that transitioned into capturing everyday life, creating vacation recap videos, directing sketches with friends, visual storytelling and eventually getting asked to film weddings. What started as a creative outlet, a hobby, gradually became something more.
It went from a hobby of capturing memories and creating fun videos to taking a professional leap while continuing what we enjoyed… filming and storytelling. We began helping every kind of client from shooting corporate events to training videos to small business promos across Greater Boston.
Word spread. Clients stayed (we still work with some of our first clients from 2016!). Chaze Films was born not from a business plan, but from a genuine love of the craft and a belief that video, done right, changes how a business is seen. And we gradually evolved from videographers to a full video strategy, production and marketing company.
We’re proud to be a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified company through the Massachusetts SBA and crossed certified with the city of Boston, a designation that reflects our commitment to access, equity, and representation in the creative economy.
And while our focus is primarily with service-based industries, we’re open to working with anyone who is a good fit.

Jason has been filming and creating since before digital cameras were affordable. What started as a way to simply capture memories on film evolved into a genuine passion for visual storytelling, taking him through wedding videography, short film production, and eventually the world of corporate and commercial video.
As Chaze Films’ lead video strategist, Jason doesn’t just think about how a video looks, he thinks about what it needs to accomplish. His clients consistently describe him as someone who is thorough, creative, and genuinely invested in their success but also fun to work with. Jason’s strength and love is still on visual storytelling and he still finds time for passion projects, including short films that keep his storytelling instincts sharp.
Every production we do is supported by a team of creative professionals we’ve handpicked and worked alongside over many years.
